My name is Koji Honda, I am Japanese. I'm here in Moalboal since 1999.

I was born & grow up in Hamamatsu-city, Japan. It is located between
Tokyo and Nagoya. There is castle central of city from SAMURAI age. It
called SHUSSE-JYO(promote castle), landlord made the TOKUGAWA shogunate(goverment)
at EDO(Tokyo) and it reign over Japan two hundred years. Famous for producing
Japanese green tea & tangerines, also HONDA, YAMAHA, and SUZUKI established
there, Producing piano too, known as musical instrument city.(I am not
the owner of HONDA MOTORS) South part of city face to the Pacific Ocean,
there is very big dune. East boundary of city, there is big river one of
a represent of Japan it call TENRYU river. West part of the city, there
is big lake mixed sea water HAMANA-like, UNAGI-eel is special product.
North part of the city are mountains. There are plants for good lumber,
mushrooms, edible wild plants etc. Fine day, I can see Mt. FUJI highest
mountain in Japan from my city, that is belong to my prefecture. Also there
is IZU peninsula, most famous scuba diving spot in mainland of Japan.Industrial,
historical city surrounding nature bressing on every side. No snowing winter
time too.
It's beautiful city. I love there. But I didn't know when I was there.
Now I'm here in Moalboal. It's beautiful town also. It's confidence. But now, I can not explain well why. I just realize again from tourists smile & speech.
